<p>Join a major Doha-based smart-infrastructure programme as Lead Systems Engineer, owning the systems-engineering practice for an integrated traffic-and-utilities operations platform currently deployed across three GCC capitals.</p> <h3>About the team</h3> <p>The Smart Infrastructure team is a 40-person engineering group within a larger systems-integration practice. The team is responsible for end-to-end delivery of integrated operations platforms across the GCC.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Own the systems-engineering function — requirements management, architecture decisions, interface specifications, verification & validation.</li> <li>Lead requirements elicitation with municipal and utility partners across three GCC cities.</li> <li>Manage the technical interface between systems-engineering and software-engineering teams.</li> <li>Mentor mid-career systems engineers across the practice.</li> <li>Represent the team in client steering committees and joint technical reviews.</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>10+ years of systems-engineering experience, preferably in critical infrastructure (smart city, utilities, defence, aerospace, or rail).</li> <li>INCOSE CSEP or CSEP-Acquisition certification preferred; or willingness to pursue.</li> <li>Demonstrated ownership of full-lifecycle systems-engineering for complex multi-stakeholder programmes.</li> <li>Strong client-facing communication; comfortable presenting to senior government and utility executives.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Doha, Qatar.<br><strong>Compensation:</strong> QAR 35,000 – 45,000 / month + standard GCC benefits (medical, schooling allowance up to two children, annual flights).</p>
