Founding Chairman

Connecting engineers, connecting enterprises — empowering a global Tamil engineering community.

Dear Members,

It is truly an honour and a privilege to serve as the founding Chairman of this esteemed forum. I am deeply humbled by the opportunity and sincerely grateful for the trust and encouragement extended to me by each of you. I remain steadfast in my commitment to steering this organisation toward excellence.

A strong start, an ambitious road ahead

In a remarkably short time since its inception, the International Tamil Engineers Forum has made significant strides. With approximately 3,000 members enrolled and ten chapters established, we have laid the foundation for an ambitious and forward-looking strategic plan. I am confident that our shared Vision, Mission, and Strategic Plans will guide us through a successful year ahead and set the stage for sustained growth in the years to follow.

A world transforming around us

The world around us is changing at an unprecedented pace. Social, political, technological, scientific, and economic shifts are presenting our community with both challenges and opportunities in equal measure. In this dynamic environment, the need for greater connectivity and stronger networks is paramount — and ITEF is poised to become the premier platform for fostering those vital connections among engineers and the enterprises we serve.

As we embrace a rapidly evolving world, ITEF will continue to strengthen its core capabilities — accelerating learning, innovation, and collaboration for our members and stakeholders. At its heart, our Forum is about fostering connections: between members, future engineers and students, industry, communities, and markets. Through these connections, we aim to empower individuals and organisations to thrive in an ever-changing global landscape.

An invitation to serve

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage every member to dedicate a few hours to voluntary service within our community. Whether you are an experienced volunteer or taking your first steps, your contribution will make a difference. Volunteering with ITEF is not merely about meeting obligations — it is a chance to grow as an individual and as a professional, and to leave an indelible mark on the future of our engineering community.

Together, let us create a legacy of excellence and collaboration that will propel ITEF toward a bright and promising future.

With warm regards,

Er. Krishnajegan Ponnuswamy
