Organization Chart

ITEF operates a clear two-layer governance structure: a Global tier that sets direction and ensures cross-chapter coherence, and a Chapter tier that delivers programmes locally and reflects each region's priorities.

Global tier

The Global tier consists of the elected Office Bearers and the Advisory Council. The Office Bearers — Chairman, Vice Chairman, General Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary, and Executive Director — hold a three-year term and are accountable to the General Body of all paid-up members.

Reporting into the Global tier are five standing committees:

• Programmes & Events — conferences, technical sessions, awards.
• Membership & Outreach — recruitment, retention, chapter formation.
• Finance & Audit — budgets, audited accounts, sponsorships.
• Editorial & Publications — journals, newsletters, technical papers.
• Mentorship & Careers — mentor matching, jobs board, tender exchange.

Chapter tier

Each country chapter is led by a Chapter Chair, supported by a Chapter Secretary and Chapter Treasurer. Chapters operate with operational autonomy within the policies set by the Global tier — they design their own local programme calendar, manage their own member events, and run regional volunteering and mentorship initiatives. Active chapters today span India, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and the UAE; more chapters are in formation.

Working groups

Working groups are short-term task forces commissioned by the Executive Committee for a specific outcome — for example, drafting a position paper, planning the biennial conference, or assessing a partnership opportunity. They draw members from across chapters and dissolve once their mandate is complete.
