Three statements anchor everything ITEF does. They are written briefly, deliberately — so that every member can carry them in mind, and every decision the Forum makes can be checked against them.

Our Vision

To evolve as the premier resource for the global Tamil engineering community — a world in which Tamil engineers are valued for their contributions to building a sustainable, safer, and stronger society.

Our Mission

To inspire, connect, serve, educate, and build a global community of Tamil engineers — fostering their professional, entrepreneurial, and fraternal growth, enabling them to compete on a global scale.

Our Values

Four principles guide the way we work — with each other, with our partners, and with the wider community.

• Stewardship. We use our knowledge and skill for the enhancement of human welfare and the environment.
• Integrity. We are honest, impartial, and serve with fidelity.
• Openness. We maintain openness and accessibility with every one of our stakeholders.
• Collegiality. We work with collegiality and integrity — within the Forum, and with everyone we engage with outside it.

Living the values

These statements are not wall art. The Vision shapes the Forum's long-range plan. The Mission shapes the year's programme of work. The Values shape every chapter event, every committee deliberation, every conversation a member has on behalf of the Forum.
